I've since switched to CarPlay Spotify only because the Spotify app allows you to alter the EQ in which I was able to find an EQ setting resulting in more balanced highs but less detailed midrange- this is the trade-off I've accepted for now. Unfortunately, the Hi-Fi system has no option the change the EQ, only the Treble and bass. I used to listen to music through ID8's built-in Spotify app as the sound stream quality was improved, while the midrange was great, the highs would be too sharp depending on the song to the point that it made the listening experience uneasy. If I chose just one of the above for now, which would yield the highest increase in overall sound quality? What else might I want to consider? To keep it short, I've had premium sound in my last 2 cars, and I bought the 340i off the lot with HiFi. ![]() I've had my 2023 M340i for about 4 months now.
